Outsourced Finance Function

We’ve served as the outsourced finance function for a biotech university spin-out since 2019. Our role includes managing all daily financial transaction processing, consolidating five entities, preparing statutory accounts under IFRS, managing their complex R&D tax claims and supporting the annual audit conducted by a ‘Big 4’ firm. In addition to finance, our HR team oversees their recruitment and onboarding process, and our payroll team oversees their UK payroll.

Longterm FD Services Partner

We’ve partnered with this Derbyshire-based provider of turnkey solutions for process control for over 5 years, building. During this time, we’ve provided a Fractional FD and accounting services, including supporting board meetings, managing investors, preparing finance reports, setting up internal controls, cash flow forecasting, and facilitating financing from convertible loans to equity investments between £250k and £2.5m.

Preparation for additional investment

Having successfully brought their medical devices product to market, this client required expert help to prepare for investment. Reduce time to receipt of payment

A global data transformation consultancy wanted to reduce working capital in the business. To do this, they needed to analyse global revenue by region, line of business and resource at a very granular level. Through a PowerBI dashboard, this client is not able to view the entire working capital cycle to enable them to reduce the time between completion of work to receipt of payment.

A €30bn revenue European logistics company wanted to expand to the UK, but its finance function lacked knowledge of the UK financial landscape. It needed a combination of CFO support and accounting services to provide all aspects of UK finance, governance, regulations, compliance, and tax. Improving cash collection process

The EMEA division of a big data consultancy wanted to improve its cash collection process by forecasting cash receipts using historical payment patterns and invoicing system data blended with knowledge from the credit control team. A visual Power BI dashboard gave them greater visibility of amounts available for early payment if required to meet cash collection forecasts.
