Alan, an outsourced finance director, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA ) and a Member of The Chartered Institute of Building ( CIOB ).
He has enjoyed an extensive finance career in the construction and engineering sectors in the UK and Internationally.
His previous FD and CFO experience included full financial responsibility for various groups of companies as well as accountability for many commercial, procurement, HR and ICT aspects.
In his recent roles, he helped to achieve an increase in turnover of £440m within four years and led the team that successfully secured £3m in R&D tax credits.
He has managed large digitisation projects, and group restructures. He has led international finance teams in the UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Poland, China and the USA, and he is skilled in managing growth and process improvement in the companies he supports.
