Andy graduated from Durham University with a degree in Geography and is an ACA qualified Chartered Accountant.

He qualified and spent the formative years of his career with Big Four firm PWC before relocating to Sydney and then back to London. Andy then moved into marketing services for a large US-based marketing group and rose to become CFO of one of its marketing agencies. Subsequent moves saw him support a VC-backed tech development business with its operations and financing. He then became a COO/CFO of a professional services firm to help with the transition of a sale to Accenture.

More recently, Andy spent the past two years as MD of a leisure and travel business and the first four months as Group CFO.

He now provides FD services in Edinburgh and is heading up iFD’s presence in the region. Andy continues to provide operational support and financial leadership to support founder-owned and early-stage businesses to become more profitable and efficient.
