Mark is an experienced CIMA-qualified Finance Director. He has strong commercial acumen as well as a strong track record creating robust financial management and financial governance capability for both established and rapidly growing organisations.

He spent his early career managing finance teams for companies including Amstrad, Universal Studios and BBC before setting up his own accountancy practice. The accountancy practice specialised in providing commercial reporting and Finance Director services, with Mark becoming a portfolio Finance Director for a number of clients within the practice.

Through his various Finance Director positions, Mark has worked across a number of industries providing key strategic advice; he led key finance change initiatives to improve financial management and reporting capability; assembled and led finance teams from start-up companies to large international organisations; Mark also developed and implemented management information systems and provided key support in cashflow management and debt finance.

He has also set up subsidiary companies for clients that have expanded into North America and Europe, implementing accounting and management information systems.

Mark recently sold his practice to a top 25 accountancy firm and is now a part-time Finance Director providing finance director services to SME companies.
