Martin Eberhardt
Martin has broad experience across the Big 4, Group FD and CFO roles, but now enjoys making a real difference to SMEs facing significant opportunities or challenges and need in-depth CFO know-how.
Martin is a chartered accountant who trained with Deloitte. He progressed to senior management roles in Deloitte and then KPMG before moving into industry to fulfil PLC as well as private FD and CFO roles within start-ups and SMEs.
He currently undertakes fractional CFO roles as well as holding a number of NED positions. His skills include:
- Managing SME boards and being a critical sounding board to the CEO
- The setting, critiquing and crucially, implementing commercial strategy
- Controlling treasury and working capital
- Raising funds in the stock market, private and bank
- Delivering statutory reporting and compliance (UK GAAP, IFRS, internal reporting)
- Managing projects such as post-acquisition integrations, disposals, acquisitions, and fundraises
- Handling successful mergers and acquisitions
- Managing stakeholder relations and priorities (AIM, banks, FCA, private investors, creditors)
His industry experience includes multi-site facilities, manufacturing, technology, energy, electronics, media, business and support services, telecoms, hospitality, IT, software, housing, charities and financial services, ranging in size from start-up to £50m, both here in the UK and globally.
